HOW CAN MY SCHOOL GET SUPPORT TO RUN THE PRIZE?
If your school would like some creative support for the competition, our artist in residence can run a workshop to help inspire ideas and experimentation across media. Get in touch with firstname.lastname@example.org if so.
We are also gathering together an evolving list of resources that you can refer to.
DO I HAVE TO BE LINKED TO A SCHOOL TO SUBMIT?
We are accepting entries from all young people ages 9 - 12. You can submit a project even if you’re not linked to a participating school.
CAN MY SUBMISSION BE A GROUP PROJECT?
Yes, submissions can be from individuals or from teams.
HOW DO I SUBMIT MY PROJECT?
Your project can take on any form that you like, but submissions must be digital. This means that if you create a physical object, for example, please submit a photograph of that object as your entry. All submissions should be made to email@example.com. If your submission is digital but too large to send via email you may want to use wetransfer.com
WHAT ARE THE RULES?
We invite you to share creative responses to air pollution. Your submission can share a personal perspective, a possible solution, or a new way of bringing awareness to air pollution and communicating the science around it and the issues that it raises. We’re looking for projects that are creative, engaging, accessible to all, and show your personal perspective, passion or solution around the topic.
Submissions should be in these formats:
Text files 1 A4 page maximum as a PDF.
Image files at 300dpi and as JPEGS.
Podcasts as a link.
Films as a .mov or vimeo link.
Websites as a URL.
But do get in touch if your project is in a different digital format!
CAN I SUBMIT MORE THAN ONE PROJECT?
We are looking for just one submission per group or person.
WHAT ARE THE PRIZES?
All entries will be shown at the festival and winners will be announced on the evening of Sunday 27th August. Selected projects will win a trip to the Eden Project, the largest rainforest in captivity.
WHEN DO I FIND OUT IF I’M A PRIZE WINNER?
We’ll announce the prizes on the on the evening of Sunday 27th August.
