The Lodge, Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park
The purpose of the rebuilding of The Lodge is to take a currently unused and derelict residential building within Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park and bring it to life through a change of use class and internal and external building works that meet the requirements of the park managers, The Friends of Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park, and other local groups.
These plans include a cafe, workshop, office and events space. Funds for the extension have been partially crowd-funded through the Shuffle audience and other sponsors. The building is owned by Tower Hamlets Council and will be leased to FoTHCP on completion.
