Winter Shuffle 2013

Winter Shuffle hosted a seasonal themed programme for all. Nightly films, kids and family weekend matinees, traditional Christmas classics and offbeat cult hits for an alternative advent. The beautiful Victorian front building was given a Dickensian makeover complete with Christmas tree, comfy armchairs, storytelling, poetry, comedy and theatre throughout, as well as lectures on the science of Christmas.

With free entry and cheap tickets, all were welcome to come down to enjoy the Shuffle bar and restaurant inside a greenhouse filled with fir trees.

Highlights included Requiem for Detroit + Julien Temple Q&A, Sunshine + Danny Boyle and Brian Cox in conversation, The Man Who Fell to Earth + director Nic Roeg in conversation with Jarvis Cocker, a Sub Zero Adventure double bill, storytelling from Irvine Welsh, Richard Wilson, Tamsin Greig and Rob Da Bank, theatre from Rift, Familia de la Noche and Planktonic Players and much much more..
